Look at My Laces
A tidy little playlist of new and old shoegaze that mostly lies outside of the regular canon you’re used to seeing associated with the subgenre. I threw in a few all time classics and buzz bands but mostly wanted to focus on new artists I’ve discovered during quarantine. While drenched in melancholic reverb and echo, I tend to find a lot of these songs optimistic - like when you find out the good cholesterol is elevated. Not the bad one. Enjoy.
